Mandarich Law Group, LLP is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Chicago, IL
Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, IL, NY, MI, OH, GA and FL. We are currently seeking a full time Accounting Clerk- In-office for our downtown Chicago office.
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00PM - In-office.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Apply received customer payments to customer accounts within our accounting software; investigate and resolve application issues as they arise
- Establish and maintain a schedule for processing customer payments for open invoices
- Collaborate with the internal operations team to correct error and issue refund checks
- Support internal operations team by providing documentation, and investigating and resolving discrepancies, related to invoices and payments
- Knowledge of basics - making accounting journal entries (debits and credits)
- Monitor client accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Familiar with A/R.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Various bookkeeping and accounting duties
What You'll Need;
- Either obtained or seeking an Accounting degree or has equivalent job experience
- Minimum 2-year high volume experience in Accounts Receivable and cash application
- Ability to work with various levels of people within the company (from staff to CEO) as well as with external parties
